Feel-good support
Low-pressure, personalised support services that are LGBTQIASB+ and neurodiversity affirming.
For people like us.
Hello, I’m Dion (he/him).
I’m an autistic, ADHD, queer person and I have my own NDIS plan, so I know exactly what it’s like navigating the NDIS.
After my first plan was approved, I wasn’t really given any guidance on what to do or how to start using my plan. I also had a tough time finding providers that were like me and treated me like a peer. So, I built a team of queer and neurodivergent people, and created Neuroqueer for anyone else who might like some ‘neuroqueer’ folks in their corner.
Image description: It's me, Dion (guy, dark brown hair). I’m smiling really big and wearing round glasses, and a white shirt with a black bowtie.

We have Peer Support Workers across Australia for in-person support.
For all other services, we work remotely, so Neuroqueer is available to anyone in Australia.
You choose how to communicate with us, which means you can use our services remotely via phone calls, video calls, messaging, or even face-to-face depending on where you are.
-
We charge the standard NDIS rates. The exact rate will be written in your Service Agreement, depending on what service you would like from Neuroqueer.
-
Many NDIS plans come with Support Coordination already included. If your plan doesn’t include this, you can request it by talking to your NDIS Local Area Coordinator (LAC) or the NDIS directly.
-
You can change providers at any time. We can support you through the process.
-
We are able to support you if you have a Plan Managed or Self Managed NDIS plan.
-
See our Jobs at Neuroqueer page.
-
We use the acronym LGBTQIASB+ to acknowledge Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer people, as well as Sistergirls, and Brotherboys.
The + symbol represents the many other sexualities, genders, and experiences not explicitly named, including Asexual, Aromantic, Agender, Non-Binary, and others.
-
For us, neurodiversity is an inclusive word that describes the experience of having a different way of moving through the world because of how our brains work.
Sometimes that’s something we’re born with, like being Autistic, having ADHD, or learning and thinking differently. Other times, it’s shaped by what we’ve been through, like the lasting effects of trauma or brain injury.
We honour all neurodivergent experiences, whether innate, acquired, diagnosed, or self-identified. All are valid, all belong, and you’re one of us.
-
Nope! Our purpose is to support LGBTQIASB+ and neurodivergent people, but you don’t need to identify with either to access our services.
If our values resonate with you and you’re looking for support that’s affirming, flexible, and human, you’re welcome here.
